Yeah I was being kind of sarcastic with the "wholesome" reference because it seems the books justify it because it doesn't cross a particular line. But yeah, just the fact that the characters are dwelling on these things isn't necessarily okay, plus it's just eye-rolling to me. I couldn't finish this one book that went on and on and on and on and ON about how hot and bothered each character got while watching the other person. I think it was called Bride in the Bargain? Oh yes, I just found the entry where I ranted about it, if you want to read. :)
