Girl on the Train

Have any of you read The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins? I just got it from the library and started listening, but it was pretty dreary and depressing. I got through about one disk and switched to my other book. I'm just wondering if it improves and whether it's worth it to push through and listen to the whole thing.

I actually have a hold on this at the library! I saw this book while Jon and I were at the airport back when we went on our cruise and I thought it looked good. It has over 50 holds on the copy I requested, so it's going to be a while before it gets to me. If you start it again, let me know if you like it!

I will! If I run out of stuff to listen to, I might give it another try. So far I'm waiting for the actual suspense to happen--it's just so dreary!

Interestingly, my LJ friend starcrossed recently read this book and she was very enthusiastic about it. She didn't really write a review though, so I don't know what especially she liked.

That's good to know...I am sure it has some suspense and everything, if I can make it that far. I just need to decide if I can keep pushing through. After my current book I'll go back to it and give it another try.
