a reading introduction

I thought it might be nice if we sort of introduced ourselves and our styles of reading - what say you?
I'll go first: Hi, my name is Marie, I'm 23, and I'm addicted to reading.
My book choices are eclectic. I'm a reference librarian, so I'm exposed to a lot of books, and I'm highly curious about everything, even about things that don't interest me (how's that for a conundrum?) so I end up reading a lot of books I'd never think to seek out. I read a lot of non-fiction (I especially love micro-histories, biographies, and travel and food memoirs) but I couldn't live without good doses of fiction - historical, science fiction, classics, children's lit, mystery, romance. You can see my GoodReads profile here if you want to see some of what I've read recently, what I plan on reading, and what I'm reading now. I update it religiously!
I read a lot, but I have good excuses. I read fast, it helps me at work (especially since I do a lot of reader's advisory), and I don't sleep much, lol. Also, obviously, I enjoy it a great deal and so it ranks higher than a lot of other things on my priorities list. I'm just saying because I hate when others appear to feel bad if they read less - it probably just means that they have more of a life than I do. :)
So - tell us about you!
