I like what you say about the Francine Rivers book. I haven't read it (or any of her stuff) but you seem to illustrate what I hate about Christian fiction. The dialogue is often horrible, and the preachiness is just SO overdone. Enough! Until Christian authors write as well as mainstream ones, I'm not interested. (Same goes for most Christian music, in fact.)
For the record, if I were raped I would never, ever have an abortion. Ever. It's not the baby's fault! It's not my fault! Why punish both of us for something we didn't do? Anyway, you probably could have guessed that I'd have that opinion. ;)
