So, I'm really wanting to find some Christian literature that does not include someone marrying or becoming the significant other of someone else. I'm an avid reader, but have made a habit of making wide circles far away from the Christian section because.... they are all invariably about someone getting married, unless it's for a young audience. I tend to put a wide circle around *any* book that this is a central theme, but I've found Christian lit to be the most likely for this, and most difficult to avoid. I'd love to have some suggestions otherwise! Thanks in advance.

Hmm...my first thought was the Florian's Gate trilogy by T. Davis Bunn, because it's all about Eastern Europe and history and antiques...but then I remembered that there's a romance/marriage subplot throughout. So...never mind there. (Though it is a pretty good series.)

I don't read a lot of Christian fiction, and what I do is usually romantic, but my mom really likes Joel Rosenberg's books, which are all action/adventure/spy type novels.
