I only read three books this month, but they were by three of my favorite authors. :-)

"The Lost Castle" by Kristy Cambron

This had a little too much story for me - three plotlines set in three different time periods. Too many chronologies and characters to juggle with success, in my humble opinion. That said, my name is in the acknowldgement section because I suggested a character's name when the author was soliciting help on her Facebook page several months ago, so that's pretty cool. That character will be the main heroine in the second book of this series, which I'm hoping will be easier to follow than this one.

"A Song Unheard" by Roseanna M. White

World War I has never been more romantic than in White's Shadows Over England series. In this book, professional thief Willa must steal a cypher key from professional musician Lukas - which becomes complicated when Lukas finds Willa intriguing and irresistable from their very first meeting. There's plenty of spy action and war danger as Willa tries to find the key before time runs out.

"When Tides Turn" by Sarah Sundin

She's fighting to be taken seriously, while he takes himself *too* seriously. As WWII and the Battle of the Atlantic heat up, Tess joins the WAVES to make a difference, and tries to convince her childhood friend Dan not to lose sight of the most important things as he doggedly pursues his Naval career. If they can work past their stubbornness they might just find they can help each other find balance and love.

Books read in 2018: 9, plus 2 novellas
