Somehow I managed to finish 10 books in February. That's kind of crazy! Here's the scoop:
New medieval YA series about a family of 7 sons and 1 daughter. In this first book, all 7 sons are accused of conspiring a murder, and the sister must try to save them.
"𝗪𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆" 𝗯𝘆 𝗗𝗲𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗵 𝗥𝗮𝗻𝗲𝘆
Really great craft book focused on bringing dimension to your manuscript. Available free of charge on the ACFW website.
It's the book of Job like you've never seen it before. Had lots of thoughts about this one, so just check out my review for more info.
This true crime story involves one of the earliest known black widow serial killers in the United States. Review:
I could see this book ending up on my favorites list at the end of the year! Sweet split-time story with great themes and well-rounded characters.
Civil War fiction that tackles a lot of deep topics. Though not my favorite from this author, it could spark valuable discussions.
"𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗸𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀" 𝗯𝘆 𝗧𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗮 𝗟𝗲𝗶𝗴𝗵
This audiobook's narrator went all out with her various accents, and she had a unique cadence, which made it very hard for me to follow the story for the first several hours. I liked it once I finally got used to her voice, though.
This is a fun resource book subtitled "101 Simple, Powerful Ways to Love Others Well." Full of great inspiration!
Loner Madison returns to Walker Beach to finalize her aunt's estate. Will this small town work its way into her heart?
"𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗧𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗕𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸𝘀" 𝗯𝘆 𝗦𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗵 𝗦𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻
Step back into pre-WWII Germany and see it through the eyes of foreign correspondent Evelyn and graduate student Peter.
